A busy term so far…

Fifth Classes have their final Mindfulness with Bernie lesson in February. They have been busy at drama club learning dance routines and creating art for the upcoming Oliver show. Buddy activities for St. Brigid’s day included helping to paint a giant cloak with Mrs. McCarthy’s class. Red Kettle will be paying our school a visit this month, so everyone is looking forward to that.

5th and 6th Classes have been learning French from the Transition year pupils from the Presentation Secondary school. They have also started Drama and Wellbeing Club after school every Tuesday.

6th Classes hosted a Grandparents’ Afternoon in February.

3rd and 6th Classes are starting Rhythm and Shakes drumming for 4 weeks.

The Language Classes are visiting the Browns Road library during February.

Mrs Cody’s Second Class are getting 3 sessions of Mindfulness with Bernie in February. They will be doing Picker Pals once the weather improves! Ms Feighery’s class are also looking forward to starting Picker Pals and are busy getting ready to celebrate The Sacrament of Reconciliation.

All three Third Classes have been enjoying weekly swimming lessons. They also attended the Peace Proms concert in the SETU Arena on the 24th of January. In addition, they on a show for the school and parents in the hall on the 30th of September.

Junior and Senior Infants are looking forward to welcoming Ann Marie, our local librarian to our classes for story time on February 17th.
