Junior Infants

Miss Quinn

We’re as busy as ever in Junior Infants! We’re always learning and enjoying fun activities. We loved learning about animals and the vet. We wrote reports about penguins and had great fun making glittery unicorns. We got to try out drumming with Cathy. We loved dressing up for world book day and for green day! It was so much fun!

November… We’ve had a super busy few weeks in Junior Infants! We got to do some lovely science activities in the hall and made our own pasta necklaces for Science Week. We took part in the fyffes fitness challenge, learned about the doctor in aistear and made patterns in maths. With the cold weather coming in we decided to make some bird feeders and hang them out in the trees around the school too.

October…

We’ve had a very fun October in Junior Infants! We enjoyed doing activities with our buddies, especially the green day activity for world mental health day. Ann Marie from Brownes Road Library called in to visit us. She read us two lovely stories and gave us our very own bag of books to take home!

We loved making potions and fishing for creepy crawlies in Halloween aistear and we were so excited to go trick-or-treating around the school in our costumes!

September…

We’re off to a great start in Ms. Quinn’s junior infants! We’ve been enjoying getting to know all our new friends and have settled in so quickly. We’ve loved learning nursery rhymes and we’re getting super good at matching and colouring. For friendship week we enjoyed meeting our 5th class buddies and doing art and playing with them.
