Camogie Champions!

Camogie Champions!… The Presentation camogie team, which is made up of 5th and 6th Class girls, had a fantastic victory in the Eastern Final today. This is the first time the Presentation has made the final in 12 years, so it’s very exciting for the school. Huge congratulations to everyone on the team and all who help train the girls too. We are so so proud of you. Pres Abú!
Report from the Eastern Semi-Final…
It was a wet and miserable day, but this didn’t stop the Pres girls from putting in an incredible performance!
They came up against a strong and physical team from Glór na Mara but the girls fought for every ball and played with fierce determination. They won on a final score of 6-4 to 1-0. It was a great team effort and all 16 girls played a part on the day, while also having great fun!
The girls will continue to train hard over the next two weeks and prepare for the final, which will take place in Walsh Park on the 24th of May. Well done girls, we are very proud of you all.

Waterford Primary Games…
Lauren Kennedy Rowe (pictured below) was picked to play for the Waterford Primary Games team. She played at half time of the Waterford v Cork match in Walsh Park in May. We are all very proud of her and we’ enjoyed cheering her on. Well done Lauren.
